Miracle Lasagna

It's very easy to make and delicious too!

Recipe:
1 jar (24 ounces) Prego Traditional Italian Sauce
6 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 container (15 ounces) ricotta cheese
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese ( about 2 cups)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

1. Spread about 1 cup of sauce in a 2-quart shallow baking dish.
Top with 3 uncooked noodles, ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella  cheese, Parmesan cheese and 1 cup sauce. Top with the remaining 3 uncooked noodles and the remaining sauce. Cover the dish.
2. Bake at 375*F for 1 hour. Uncover the dish and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Enjoy!

Good Reality TV

The Oxygen channel has a show I love called Jersey Couture, its about  the Scali family  who owns a dress store (Diane & Co) in south New Jersey . Although the mix of  family and business has its challenges the Scali's (sisters Kim and Chrissy and mother Diane) have their customers covered. Whether it's a Sweet 16, a gala charity ball, a high school prom, or a daughter's wedding everyone knows that the perfect dress makes the event, and no one in New Jersey is better at helping women find the right dress than the Scali's. Jersey couture promotes family, fun, fundraising and fashion!! no drinking, no scandal, no drama!!

The Four Agreements - Don Miguel Ruiz

The Four Agreements - Don Miguel Ruiz

1. BE  IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
Speak with integrity.  Say only what you mean.  Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others.  Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2.  DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
Nothing others do is because of you.  What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream.  When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

3. DON'T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want.  Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama.  With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4.  ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick.  Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse, and regret.
Love yourself!  Elaine

Celebrity Scentsation: Top 5 Perfumes for Women

Fashion and beauty go hand-in-hand with celebrities! We live in a world of beauty and many women flock to celebrities likes bees to flowers. Fragrance is business, and stars sell. Celebrities bring the world of fashion and beauty to the real world. Unknown foreign models look fantastic, but we can identify more with a celebrity we know. We feel a connection with them, so a perfume, outfit, or cosmetic they create or endorse becomes a product we can believe in.The recent shift from celebrity endorsement to celebrity creation, is a new trend in the fashion and beauty industry. Perhaps we can blame the reality television shows that have popularized this celebrity to designer bandwagon. Who knows, and frankly who cares! I welcome it, and embrace the star-studded products! In the scentuous world of fragrances designed by celebrities I have my own top picks (besides the classic Elizabeth Taylor ones) that I collect that have a mixture of bottle appeal and delicious scent.

~ Hello All! This is my first official post on our lovely blog! I'm excited to be a part of this! ~

I'm sure everybody has some kind of furry friend in their life, but I just want to say how much I love my animals! Today I had to take my Kitty to the vet to get his spring shots(Yes, he hated me today). Before I got out his crate, I pulled out my suitcase and laid it on my bed as I kept rummaging through my very messy closet. I finally found the crate yelling "Eureka!" to the bowels of my closet....But to my surprise I turned to find my darling little cat sitting in my suitcase.... How precious<3

Have a great night everybody!:)

10 best excuses for missing work

Have you ever woke up and just didn't feel like going to work? there you are, thinking of a believable lie to tell the boss. At some point we all have been down that road so here are some  little white lies you can use for your very own (hopefully not too often).

1. my car broke down ---this is one that is commonly used  and works most of the time but don't ware it out

2. I'm not feeling well , this one will only work on jobs that don't ask for a doctors excuse ,unless you are feeling lucky

3. I have a death in the family, be careful when using this one because death is nothing to play about (does not apply to animals)

4. I had an appointment at my child's school , most jobs are vary understanding when it comes to education

5.  I woke up late and missed my ride , getting yourself to work is your own responsibility but you get away with it ,on the other hand your boss may not give a hoot

6. my house was flooded , this is a good one  to use  after a rain Storm provided you live in a flood prone area

7. I'm at the hospital , my daughter just gave birth

8. my baby sitter got sick and I can't make it today

9. the plumber is coming today to fix the pluming and I have to be here

10. I have cramps: Before you dismiss this one, think about it: Who can argue? It's such an embarrassing topic that nobody will ever challenge it

I do not encourage missing a bunch of days off work because loss of work means loss of money, however if you find yourself in need of a day off but you just can't talk to the boss  go on and do what you feel is right for you

Nails, Nails & more Nails!!!

I adore Audrey Hepburn, my all-time favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Audrey redefined acting; she redefined fashion, and redefined what being a starlet actually meant. Through a long and fruitful career, she not only impressed everyone by the skill of her craft and unquestionable beauty; she also made a long lasting impression on everyone by the things she said. Her words left a mark in acting, in politics, in fashion and even in social affairs. Whenever Audrey Hepburn spoke she inspired millions of people through her words, which seemed so simple (and even shallow at times) but were in fact so complex and profound. Through her quotes, she gave people hope: hope of a better tomorrow; hope of finding true love; hope that miracles actually exist; hope that things can change. Hepburn was somewhat of a dreamer, but what made her so remarkable was that she always managed to make others share her dreams, to share her vision. She once said that she believed in pink. For many this statement is absurd, but not for me. I know exactly what she meant. Believing in pink meant believing in love, believing that people were naturally good; pink was the color she envisioned the perfect world could be, and given she believed that such a world could be built, she naturally believed in pink. To this day, people remember her movies, her accomplishments, her generosity, her morals, her style, and above all, her beautiful persona. This quote is my philosophy of life. My parents always raised me to feel empowered, strong, confident, and happy no matter what the situation is. I even had this canvas made to look at every day.
